While sitting on the porch - my wife and I
A beautiful butterfly came fluttering by.
It circled around, then perched on my nose
Giving me a tingle from my head to my toes!
It sat on my nose for just a little while
Which brought us joy and a big happy smile.
I was wanting my camera to get a picture of him
As it flew to my sunglasses and sat near the rim.
I remove my glasses and sat them on the bench
My little friend just sat there. He didn't even flinch.
I was really excited - I want you to know,,,
As I headed for my camera - fast as I could go.
With my camera in hand my little friend was still there
Above is his picture that I desire to share!
