Who is the very dearest
So handsome and so tall?
Who does the tasks with no request;
The big things and the small?
Who sometimes is our chauffeur,
And drives us to and fro?
Who never is a loafer,
Cause we keep him on the go?
Who fixes up the bike
And mends the tire so flat?
Whom do we depend on
For all the things like that?
Who is our repairman
When something breaks down?
Who is that fellow
We love having around?
Who fixes up the gadgets,
And unstops all the sinks?
Who supplies us all with money
As if he thinks he's Brinks?
Who scolds us when we're bad
And tells us what to do?
I bet you've almost guessed it;
Yes, Dear Dad, it's YOU!
