My Grandma is so special, Her heart is made of gold.
Her kindness and devotion cannot be bought or sold.
Grandmas are rather TYPICAL, this we all agree,
But mine is quite Unique, cause she puts up with me.
Grandma spoils the kiddies the minute they hit the door.
Grandma says, "I'm a sweetie!" Need I tell you more?
I've played in all her cupboards, stolen ice cubes from her glass.
She has bottle fed my tummy, and diapered my hairy little a__.
I've pookied on her cabinet, Spilled milk upon her floors.
I ride upon her shoulders and watch her do her chores.
I wrap my tail around her neck and chatter in her ear.
She thinks I'm really Darling and loves to have me near.
Grandma is full of wisdom. She's learned along the way
To cope with all the problems monkeys create when they stay.
She makes me lots of clothes and alters those we buy.
WHO ELSE would tailor for a monkey such as I?
I like to steal her TIC TACS when her purse is laying 'round;
She watches with adoring eyes and utters not a sound.
I've eaten from her table and walked across her plate.
She smiles and calls me Sweetie. She thinks that I'm just great!
My fuzzy hands and fingers have caressed her graying hair.
People stare at us in public, but really,,, I don't care.
All kids need a Grandma who is loving, fun and spunky...
I really love my Grandma and My Grandma loves this monkey!
All my love,
Harley Wayne
