Lord I've done such awful things. Oh, how I've offended Thee.
Lord, please forgive this poor sinner who's down on bended knee.
I've just wrecked my whole life. I messed up so bad.
I've disgraced my family and disappointed Mom and Dad.
I've had a lot of time, sitting here in my cell
Reviewing my sins, which I'm sure You know so well.
Lord, I can't ever undo all the bad things I've done
But Lord I'm so sorry for having crucified Your Son.
My life is a total mess; it's a complete disaster
So I'm asking You to be my Lord and my Master.
Please wipe my slate clean and give me a new start;
For I want to serve You with all of my heart.
Lord, I want to be Your witness and tell all the others
That we should love each other like sisters and brothers.
I'd like to tell about Jesus; the best Friend I've found.
And help each prisoner turn their life around.
Please give me peace and joy during all of my strife
So everyone will see YOUR abundant life.
Lord, let there be an awakening and a revival, too
As each one of us surrenders our heart to YOU.
Lord, help us to make a difference in this U.S.A.
And let that difference begin in our hearts today.
Let it be a true turning point for our wicked and sinful Nation
As we continue The Happy Harvest; bringing ALL to Salvation.
